Drop of Connections
What does those dot floating around on my homepage mean?
The Ocean Within
Notice that those dots move as if they are lightly stepped on water.
This motion comes from a metaphor about life:
When you’re born, you are like a single drop of water, flying upward, separated from the one giant consciousness.
You get older. You descend back down.
You die.
You land back into the water, become one with the ocean again.
Each drop on the screen represents a fragment of my life, a trace of my consciousness.
They seem randomly drifting, scattered across a broad universe, but their movement is never entirely their own. Their motion is subtly shaped by the force beneath the surface: the ocean of collective consciousness.
And then there is you.
You are here.
You disturb the flow. You interrupt, unsettle, and rearrange those drops, and allows new connections to form.
How would you change my life, stranger?
Note: This perspective is impacted by my background in sociology. I believe social structures, like families, culture, nationality, quietly shape how we think, feel, and moving through the world.
